Azariah "Ozzy" Fayas founded A+ Improvements Inc. in Yankton, South Dakota in August 2007 with a straightforward philosophy: do the work right, be honest about what it costs, and stand behind the result. Eighteen years later, that hasn't changed.
What started as a focused roofing operation has grown into a full-service residential exterior and remodeling contractor, operating across South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, and Virginia. The crew brings over 40 years of combined field experience, and continues to invest in education on the latest products, installation systems, and building science.
Every job Ozzy takes on carries his name. That personal stake is what keeps the standard where it needs to be — not minimum acceptable quality, but work that will hold up, look right, and protect the homeowners who trusted us to do it.

In 2022, Ozzy launched Master Commercial Roofing as a dedicated commercial roofing operation under the A+ Improvements umbrella. The demand was there — commercial property managers and developers in the region kept asking, and the skill set and crew were already in place.
Master Commercial Roofing operates as its own brand with its own dedicated focus, but draws directly on A+'s 18-year foundation of field experience, supplier relationships, and reputation. It's not a pivot — it's a natural extension of what we've built since 2007.
